What we collect
We collect only what you type into one of our two forms. We buy no data, and we do not track you across other websites.
When you book a fitting
- — Name, telephone number and email address
- — What the enquiry concerns and which occasion it is for
- — The date of the occasion, your preferred visiting time and the number of people
- — Any message you choose to write
When you send a message
- — Name and email address, plus telephone number if you provide one
- — Your message
Our lawful basis: when you contact us about a garment, we process the data in order to reply and to prepare a possible contract – what the GDPR calls steps prior to entering into a contract. If you write with a general question, we rely on our legitimate interest in being able to answer you.
How long we keep it
If no booking results, we delete the enquiry within six months. If it leads to an order or a hire, we keep the data for as long as the transaction requires and thereafter for as long as Swedish accounting law requires – seven years for records that count as accounting information.
Who else sees the data
We never sell your data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. It does, however, pass through a few technical providers so that the website can function.
The forms
The forms on this website are sent through the service Web3Forms, which forwards them to our email. The data is stored with them for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted automatically. The transfer is encrypted.
Typefaces
The website's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. This means your browser contacts Google's servers when you open a page, and your IP address becomes visible to Google in the process. No other information is sent.
The map on the contact page
The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap. If you open the contact page, your IP address becomes visible to them. OpenStreetMap is a non-commercial service and is not used for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
This website uses no cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking. We have no analytics tool installed and we do not measure how you move around the site.
The only thing stored locally in your browser is your answer to the cookie notice, so that you are not asked again on every visit. It remains until you clear your browser storage, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Your rights
You have the right to
- — know what data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it
- — have incorrect data corrected
- — have data erased, once we no longer need it for the transaction or for our accounts
- — object to our processing, and request that it be restricted
- — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Write to info@houseofsteens.se and we will sort it out. You do not need to give a reason.
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY, at imy.se.
If this policy changes
If we change anything here, we update the date at the top of the page. If the change affects how we handle data you have already given us, we will contact you directly.
